Kerry Davies (Bsc Hons, PG Dip, PG Cert)

I have worked for the NHS since 2005. I initially trained as a Registered Mental Health Nurse and have worked in a variety of clinical settings, both with adults and children with severe and enduring mental health difficulties. I completed my Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Post Graduate Diploma in 2012 and have since practiced as an accredited CBT Therapist.

Whilst practising as a CBT Therapist I have also completed post graduate training in:
1.Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy
2.Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
3.Behavioural Couples Therapy for Depression

I currently provide psychological therapy for individuals with common mental health difficulties such as depression, stress, anxiety disorders and long term conditions both within the NHS and in private practice.

My core training and therapeutic approach within my practice is CBT. However as I have undertaken training in a variety of psychological approaches I am able to flexibly work with individuals, offering treatment approaches to suit their personal needs.

A fully accredited CBT Therapist with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapists (BABCP). Also a Registered Mental Health Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and an accredited EMDR Therapist with EMDR UK & Ireland. Registration with these professional bodies ensures that I adhere to the highest standards of clinical practice and code of ethics.
